Five Easy Steps to a Custom Shirt
No kidding! You really are just 5 easy steps from custom apparel designed by YOU! So, here’s how it works…
Step 1…Choose your product. Select the type of garment that you want (t-shirt, fleece, athletic, etc). Then select either 100% Cotton or 50/50. Choose the brand of item that you like. You will see color tabs below each shirt picture. If you hover over a color, it will list the sizes available in that color. Once you have selected your shirt type and color, you are ready for step 2.
Step 2…You are ready to design! Add clip art (we have thousands of clip art pics on our site), add text (100 fonts to choose from) upload your own art (see our FAQ’s), or any combination of the above.
To add clip art, just click on it. The image will load in the center of the shirt. Full color art takes longer, so be patient. You can move the image around on the screen, but it has to remain inside the box that you will see on the shirt. You can change the size of the art, rotate the art and change some of the colors in the art. Look to the right of the shirt for the tools to do this.
You can add text to the shirt, move it around, rotate it, change text color, arc and counter arc the text, change letter size, and spacing.
If you want to upload your own art, click the “Upload Your Own Art” tab. You will need a preview .jpg at 72 dpi for use in the Design Studio and also a high resolution image for our Graphic Art Staff to work with. See our FAQ’s for Art Guidelines.
Let your creative juices flow! Try adding more than one piece of our clip art to a design or use more than one type of font for the lettering.
Once you have the design for the front completed, click on the “Switch Side” button and start designing the back of your shirt using the same tools as you did on the front.
If you love your design and want it on a different type of garment, just click on the step 1 tab and choose an additional type of shirt. A different shirt can have its own ink colors, but the design itself must stay the same. Up to six different garments can have the same design and there are no minimums! You can order one of six different styles with the same art on each!
Step 3…Pick your shirt sizes. No Minimums if you just want one garment and volume discounts if you order larger quantities! When you enter your totals for shirt sizes, you will see your order total on the top right of the screen.
Step 4…Save your design. Give your custom shirt design a name; fill in your e-mail address and a password so you can access it from the Log In area of the homepage. This way you can save a design and come back to it later to make changes before placing an order. You can also save variations on a t-shirt design by giving each one a separate, different name.
Step 5…You are ready to check out! Fill out the fields as directed and pay with a major credit card on our secure shopping site. Please remember that once you place an order, it is final and cannot be cancelled.
Now you just sit back and wait for your custom shirts to arrive on your doorstep! I told you it was easy!
